Reds Racing is happy to announce that the new WR5 Italia Limited Edition engine is now available. The new WR5 Italia is based on WR5 Black Diamond engine. The sleeve with 5 inlet ports and exhaust port with boosters guarantees low fuel consumption and smooth power delivery. The new engine is suitable for all track grip conditions (low- medium -high) thanks to its exceptional power curve.
NEW VCX3 Carburetor with 3 needle settings for improved idle stability and tuning options ; improved mid to top range power curve with smooth response thanks to a special low speed needle and mid range spray bar.
Extra Tuning on the crankshaft by Mario Rossi for improved power and better performance.
New Black Gloss Cooling Head with Italian flag colors on top.
The WR5 Italia comes with a DLC Coated crankshaft and backplate for improved engine durability. The crankshaft can last approximately 3 times more than a coventional steel crankshaft thanks to the extreme hardness of the diamond coating. Even the conrod life is lengthened about 50%.
The new engine is hand-tuned with a silicone-filled, balanced and tuned crankshaft by M. Rossi. Every single engine is hand inspected and compression checked inside REDS Racing headquarters by Mario and Marco Rossi to achieve the highest quality standards. This is core to the values that makes Reds Racing engines different from any other brand on the market.
